Håholmen Havstuer - accomodation
The historical fishing station of Håholmen along the Hustadvika coast has been a place to meet, a harbour, home and workplace for fishermen, sailors, merchants and travellers for many centuries. Clipfish [dried and salted cod] was produced at Håholmen since the early 18th century. Håholmen is a truly unique place to visit, both in terms of the scenery and history. The 12-acre large island forms a last bastion against the Atlantic Ocean and local boat fairways. The island itself features an exceptionally beautiful natural harbour, well sheltered from all sorts of weather.
Around thirty buildings - several from the 18th and 19th centuries - gives Håholmen the atmosphere of a close-knit village with genuine coastal history.
Håholmen is particularly suitable as a peaceful and inspiring meeting place for people who work together who want to get to know each other better and carry out their assignments. 49 rooms - 100 beds and an excellent fish restaurant - lounge and Pub. And it's all at your and your guests' disposal.
